Students from a publication design class in the media, communications and journalism department delivered crayon boxes and coloring books to the young patients at Valley Children’s Hospital.
The students delivered the crayons and books along with MCJ professor Dr. Tamyra Pierce. A crayon drive was held up until April 12 and students created coloring books in the design class so the children could color them.
The students and professor got to meet some of the children at the hospital and Ronald McDonald House in Madera.
Students donated more thanÂ1,300 boxes ofÂcrayons, according to Pierce. The delivery was made April 27, 2018.
