Award-winning presidential historian Michael Beschloss will keynote the President’s Lecture Series on Monday, April 30, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Save Mart Center.
In his lecture, “Leadership in American Politics,” Beschloss will discuss the lessons to be learned from the successes and missteps made in American politics.
Beschloss contributes as a presidential historian for NBC News, he writes as a business and sports columnist for the New York Times and he is a best-selling author of nine books.
The lecture series at the university began three years ago as a way to get notable and national professionals to speak to the campus community.
“By inviting historians, journalists and other experts, my hope is to share a variety of voices and perspectives with our Valley neighbors,” Fresno State President Dr. Joseph Castro said in a news release.
The event is free and open to the public and will include an audience Q&A session.
