My name is Corey Miracle.
I’m studying business marketing here at Fresno State. I’m an active member of Lambda Chi Alpha. I’m a senior and for my last year, I’m hoping to be your ASI President.
I love being part of organizations here and representing the students. I come from a different background than most, but at Fresno State, amongst all the other students with diverse backgrounds, I feel at home.
I grew up in Fresno and was very family focused until I got into college and began focusing on school. My parents work in a small janitorial business and I started working with them to help the family when I was 15 years old.
Since then, I’ve worked with my parents or been employed elsewhere. I believe that everything can be achieved through hard work and perseverance.
Fresno State helped me to grow in ways I didn’t think were possible. Given this opportunity to give back, my platform points include mental health awareness, sexual assault prevention, parking improvements and the addition of healthy food options.
These are important points nationally, and they affect Fresno State as well. I want to be your president to confront these issues.
