The Central California Blood Center is hosting the 14th annual Parker’s Pals Blood Drive and Marrow Registration at the Save Mart Center on Dec. 11 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Parker Fritsch, who was diagnosed with Philadelphia Positive Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, has been involved with the Central California Blood Center since the age of four. He began giving back to the community since becoming a recipient of blood and marrow twelve years ago, according to a news release.
Over 6,000 pints of blood have been collected and hundreds of potential bone marrow donors have been registered through “Be The Match.”
Donors and registrants will receive a t-shirt designed by Parker and be entered to win event tickets from the Save Mart Center. Parking at the event center is free during the blood drive.
