Fresno State President Dr. Joseph Castro will welcome national political reporter and moderator Robert Costa as part of the “President’s Lecture Series” on Oct. 16 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Save Mart Center.
Costa is a national political reporter for The Washington Times and moderator of PBS’s “Washington Week.”
At the lecture, Costa will present a talk entitled, “Inside Trump’s Washington: The Rise and Stall of an Outsider President.”
“As events unfold throughout our nation and civil discourse becomes more imperative for free speech and freedom of the press, these visits by professional journalists like Robert Costa and other notable figures provide a personal connection to the national mood,” Castro said in a news release.
The lecture series began two years ago, and this will be the first lecture under the series’ new name.
The lecture is co-sponsored by The Fresno Bee, Valley PBS and KSEE 24.
The event is free and open to the public.
