The spring semester has ended and that means one thing: summer vacation. Music playlists are essential to my life and I create one for nearly every occasion. Here are the songs I will be jammin to this summer whether I’m sitting at home in front of the AC, driving around town or having fun on the beach.
- Sweat by The Technicolors
No one knows summer like an Arizona band.
- Guillotine by Jon Bellion
The first time I ever heard Jon Bellion was during the summer and this was the song that got me hooked.
- Champagne Supernova by Oasis
A summer essential.
- The Sound of Reverie by The Maine
An oddly chill choice for me when it comes to my favorite band, but I have been enjoying this one a lot lately.
- Rose-Colored Boy by Paramore
Paramore’s new album is everything and Rose-Colored Boy is the best song to ever exist in the history of music.
- The Way We Talk by The Maine
This song came out in 2007 and I heard it live for the first time in 2017. It’s come back into my life full force and I’m not mad about it.
- If by R5
R5 just put out a new EP and “If” is the first single for good reason. So fun.
- Thunder by Boys Like Girls
Your voice was the soundtrack of my summer, Martin Johnson… And it has been every summer since this song came out in 2006. Thanks.
- Much Better by the Jonas Brothers
“Get a rep for breakin hearts, now I’m done with superstars and all the tears on her guitar.” THE JONAS BROTHERS DID THAT. 2009 WAS WILD.
- Nice2KnoU by All Time Low
All Time Low has a new album coming out in June and Nice2KnoU is probably my favorite single they have released so far.
