Saint Agnes Medical Center has given the Fresno State School of Nursing’s community health mobile unit $125,000 to expand.
The mobile unit started in the fall of 2015 and has traveled to medically underserved rural and urban communities in Fresno Country providing free, quality health care.
Students in the College of Health and Human Services and other health-related majors receive hands-on training with the mobile unit.
More than 4,000 people have been served by the unit.
