Dr. Frank Lamas, vice president for student affairs and enrollment management, was recognized nationally for being an outstanding member of student affairs and higher education.

Lamas was recognized as a 2016 NASPA Pillar of the Profession awardee. Each year the NASPA Foundation recognizes individuals who have served as leaders, scholars and teachers.

He has served on the NASPA board of directors since 2011 and in 2015 became the first Latino to chair NASPA.

Lamas has more than 30 years of experience as a student affairs educator.
