Fresno State has been awarded a $5 million grant from the California Energy Commission to provide key services, infrastructure and resources for energy entrepreneurs.
The grant is to establish the Central Valley Energy Innovation Cluster. The goal is to successfully deploy and commercialize technologies and innovations in water and energy.
A variety of services will be offered to the entrepreneurs. The services include technology evaluation, proof-of-concept validation, advisory support, training, education and incubator services and network opportunities with investors, industry leaders and potential customers. Â
