Fresno State is one of eight California State University campuses joining the statewide effort to expand college access for formerly incarcerated persons.
The program, Project Rebound, is modeled after a program at San Francisco State University and helps formerly incarcerated individuals enroll in a university and earn a college degree.
Additional CSU campuses partnering with Project Rebound are Bakersfield, Fullerton, Pomona, Sacramento, San Bernardino and San Diego.
The first group of individuals from Project Rebound will be attending Fresno State in spring 2017
