Kelly Russell has been appointed director of financial aid for Fresno State University.

She will oversee the university’s institutional, state and federal aid program.

Russell was recently the university registrar at Washburn University in Topeka, Kan.

Russell also served three years as vice president of student services at Manhattan Kansas Technical College and 12 years as its director of financial aid.
