The Fresno State football team is set to host a pair of Friday night nationally-televised games during the 2016 season, the Mountain West Conference announced Monday.
The Bulldogs’ Oct. 14 league matchup against San Diego State will be televised on CBS Sports Network while the Oct. 28 contest against Air Force will be shown on ESPN2.
The conference’s initial announcement of 10 games, which also includes one Thursday night broadcast, will be televised on a trio of networks including CBS Sports Network, ESPN and ESPN2.
Between CBS and ESPN, at least 44 game will be televised in 2016 on their many national broadcasting platforms with additional broadcasts set to be announced in the near future.
The Bulldogs, coming off a 3-9 season, kick off the year with four nonconference opponents in Nebraska, Sacramento State, Toledo and Tulsa before opening up league play in October.
