Two Fresno State football players pleaded no contest, while the women’s soccer team captain pleaded not guilty during their arraignments on Wednesday, said Fresno County Assistant District Attorney Steve Wright.
Sophomore quarterback Zack Greenlee, 20, was charged with a misdemeanor count of the underage possession of alcohol. Linebacker Brandon Hughes, 21, was charged with a misdemeanor count of resisting an officer.
Greenlee and Hughes are eligible for diversion. Their next court appearance is April 27, 2016.
Fanny Johansson, 23, the women’s soccer team captain, was charged with a misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Johansson’s trial will start Nov. 18.

Greenlee pled no contest to minor in possession and Hughes pled on a charge of disturbing the peace. If they keep out of trouble for the next six months the charges will be dismissed. Looks like those who said the cops over reacted to the party were in fact dead on. Otherwise Hughes’ original charge would not have been reduced.
