Fresno City College President Tony Cantu died this weekend, according to a statement from The State Center Community College District.

Cantu, who worked with the SCCCD for over 26 years, has been serving as Fresno City College’s top official since 2011.

Cheryl Sullivan, vice president of administrative serveries, was appointed acting president of the college today.
