Kicking off “Sip-tember,” both winners were personally congratulated by Fresno State President Joseph Castro at the Rue and Gwen Gibson Farm Market on Thursday, Sept. 4.

“On behalf of Fresno State and our provost, Dr. Lynette Zelezny, I proudly accept these prestigious awards of our viticulture and enology students that they have so richly earned and deserve,” Castro said.
The wines will be available this weekend for sale and tasting at a discount of 20 percent.
“Fresno State is the epicenter of wine, education and research in the state of California,” said James Kennedy, the chair and director of the department of viticulture and enology.
