For the first time in recent memory, the Fresno State baseball team swept a nationally-ranked Southeastern Conference (SEC) team.

Texas A&M pitcher Andrew Vinson, who allowed a leadoff hit in the ninth inning before he was taken out of the game, was charged with the loss.
“These guys have to feel pretty good about themselves,” said Fresno State head coach Mike Batesole. “That is a heck of a team we just beat over there.”
The win now gives the Bulldogs a six-game win streak as they hit the road for Sacramento State.
