Fresno State’s Wayfidning Signage program is in the process of assigning new designations to campus parking lots.

Campus visitors and first-time guests were often confused about parking with the old letter identifiers, said Amy Armstrong, parking administrator for traffic operations.

The new designations will identify the lots with numbers. P1 is designated to the lot off Maple Avenue, previously known as Lot C, since it tends to be the entrance visitors and guests use most, Armstrong said.

Temporary signs with the old lot letter will be placed next to new signs and will be up until the end of the new semester while the campus transitions to the new lot designations.
