Fresno State will face former Western Athletic Conference rival Brigham Young, both schools announced Wednesday, during the 2015 and 2017 seasons as part of a two-game, home-and-home football series.
The Bulldogs, 5-4 all-time against the Cougars, will face BYU in Provo on Nov. 21, 2015 before hosting the final game of the scheduled series between the two programs on Nov. 4, 2017 at Bulldog Stadium.
Fresno State won the last meeting against BYU 31-21 in 1998, when both schools were competing in the WAC.
The Cougars finished the 2012 season 8-5 overall.
Fresno State is also slated to play at Ole Miss (in the conclusion of the three-game series between the two programs) and host Utah and Abilene Christian in nonconference play in 2015.
