The Fresno State women’s basketball team lost to Pacific 66-56 Wednesday night on the road during a game in which the team shot a spotty 29.9 percent from the field.
Ki-Ki Moore scored a game-high 20 points, and Taylor Thompson finished with 10 points and four steals.
The score was tied at 32 at halftime.
It was in the second half when the Tigers surged toward victory with the help of Kendall Rodriguez. She finished with a team-high 19 points that helped Pacific (6-0) gain an early 44-37 lead in the second quarter.
Fresno State (2-2) will host four straight home games at the Save Mart Center, starting today against Washington State. Then the Bulldogs embark on a six-game road trip, including the Bulldogs’ Mountain West Conference opener against San Diego State.
The Bulldogs have won 13 consecutive home games. Fresno State’s last home loss was on Dec. 4 last year — 93-59 against Stanford.
