The following is a statement issued by Fresno State Athletics regarding men’s basketball player Larry McGaughey:­

Director of Athletics Thomas Boeh announced­Tuesday­that Fresno State men’s basketball student-athlete Larry McGaughey (Memphis, Tenn.) has been ruled academically ineligible for the 2012 spring semester and has left the program.

This will be the only statement issued by Fresno State Athletics pertaining to this matter.
