An exhibition of swords, helmets and armor is on display in the Madden Library’s Leon S. Peters Ellipse Gallery through June 28th.
The duality of deadly weapon and artistic beauty is the focus of the exhibition, which originated at the Clark Center for Japanese Art & Culture in Hanford.
The exhibition includes 60 objects dating from the 13th through 20th centuries featuring superb suits of armor, outstanding helmets, facemasks, swords and sword fittings and matchlock guns. [nggallery id=22]
