Fresno State’s Student Recreation Center will celebrate its five-year anniversary this week.
The SRC, which not only provides students with work-out equipment, basketball and racquetball courts, also houses the university’s Leon and Pete Peters Educational Center and The Lyles Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Students and faculty are invited to attend their anniversary celebration free of charge on Thursday, Feb. 3 from 5 to 8 p.m.
The celebration will include music, prizes and information tables. Product samples and refreshments will also be provided.
The 92,000 square-foot center has had more than one million visits by students and members.

the SRC is a dump……all the equipment and especially the tv’s are outdated! Charging for towels? And then not even require the use of them, so you know people won’t pay the extra to clean the equipment after (GROSS!). I’m surprised there hasn’t been a MRSA outbreak
