A smattering of Boise State players entered Bronco Stadium wearing nothing but orange game pants an hour prior to kickoff for pre-game stretching. Then, whispers about a possible new uniform circulated among the media in the press box. No more than a few minutes later, a couple more Broncos walked out of the tunnel sporting a new look: all orange.
Boise State faithful were called upon to make tonight’s game an “orange out” and apparently Ânot just the fans are into it, the players are too.
Likewise, Fresno State is sporting a somewhat new look. Shades of 2007 and before, the ‘Dogs are in red pants and white uniforms, ditching the all white look for the Western Athletic Conference showdown.
Very light snow flurries are falling onto the blue turf as temperatures are in the mid 30s.
Center Joe Bernardi, who has missed much of the last three weeks, is taking snaps with starting quarterback Ryan Colburn.
Kickoff is set for 7:40 p.m. Pacific and will be aired on ESPN2 with commentators Joe Tessitore and Rod Gilmore.
