According a Pew Research poll published Aug. 19, 18 percent of Americans think President Barack Obama is a Muslim. His actions of late are proving how delusional thoughts like that are. (Though if you watch this clip, this statistic makes sense). First, on Sept. 19 Obama attended church at St. John’s Episcopal Church where the sermon was on a section from chapter 16 of the Gospel of Luke saying, “You cannot serve God and wealth.” (Hopefully he took that to heart).
Then earlier today, the president was asked why he was a Christian, responding, “I’m a Christian by choice.”
I don’t know about you, but if the president took less time going after the so-called “Tea Party” or admonishing his own supporters, and more time giving thoughtful responses explaining why he is a Christian, his poll numbers would go up. Just saying.

And what should he have said? I think this response is quite appropriate. As for me the very question “why do you belong to this or that religion” is a very stupid one. It’s a personal choice and there’s nothing to explain, are you the President or whoever.
