As the final hours before our journey tick off the clock, I find myself wishing I could just fast forward. The 2010 WAC Basketball Tournament in Reno, Nevada is our destination and ultimate coverage is our mission. We, The Collegian team, will be making the 300-mile trek to bring you, the die-hard Fresno State Bulldog fan, the most complete and in-depth coverage of your teams.

When 5 a.m. rolls around, we’ll pack the car with cameras of all shapes and sizes, computers and notebooks, fill the tank with gas, and embark on the 3-day expedition. I’m not sure what to expect, but I can tell you this trip will be full of excitement. I’ve got my batteries charged, my memory cards erased, my lenses cleaned, and I’m ready to go. I’ve only been to Reno once before, and as a photographer, I’m looking forward to getting some great pictures. A city with that kind of nightlife has to be full of photo opportunities. I’m also planning to document the trip and all of the excitement along the way so, it will be a whole new world of reporting for me. When we get back on Sunday night, I’m hoping to put together a gallery or slideshow to commemorate the entire experience.
