A red-hot start both shooting and defensively provided the ‘Dogs enough cushion to take a 42-32 halftime lead over Idaho.

Fresno State raced out of the gates to a 10-0 run before the Vandals got on the board four-and-a-half minutes into the game. At the 9:48 mark the ‘Dogs opened up the game’s largest lead at 13 and have been ahead from start to finish in the opening 20 minutes.

Hayley Munro leads the team in scoring with 11 on four-of-nine shooting. As a team, the Bulldogs have posted a 46.7 three-point percentage and are perfect from the line.

The ‘Dogs have forced the Vandals into seven first-half turnovers, and held Idaho scoreless for the final two minutes of the opening period of play.

Vandals guard Shaena Kuehu is the game’s leading scorer thus far with 13 points on 50 percent shooting from the field. Idaho’s lone bright spot has come in the open floor as the Vandals have 13 fast break points.
