Conservative fissures at CPAC
The Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), was held this weekend and showed stark differences between some in the conservative movement. Which is good; debate, whether it be on the right or the left, cannot be a bad thing. However, conservatives should be able to agree on one thing””Glenn Beck’s chalkboard has got to go!

Tiger Woods’ apology
Domo arigato, Mr. Roboto? Mr. Woods’ speech was a little… robo… tronic. The worst part about it? He gave no indication that he would be back by the Masters. After which I heard CBS execs and PGA Tour commish Tim Finchem bang their heads against their television screens. Somebody better keep a good eye on them lest one of them carves “Brooks was here” on their apartment wall.

Club adopting a stretch of highway (see page five)
This thumb is not against community service; The Collegian is all for that. It’s that this particular club is the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws. Do we really need to make the “high”way joke? No, The Collegian will defer to the reader on this one.

Curling
As ESPN columnist Rick Reilly said, “Curling is fast becoming the coolest Winter Olympics sport of all.” Although the scoring system remains a mystery (is it the closest rock to the middle? The number of rocks in the target?), the sheer excitement one gets when the rock is gliding toward the target with Olympians sweeping with their brooms and teammates screaming is utter bliss. Who’s up for starting a curling club on campus?! Anyone? Hello?

Oh hmm, I don't see the big deal of the N.O.R.M.L. adopting a stretch of a freeway. Sounds like someone's just being petty and looking for a way to put down this group.
