Step out of your everyday dinner routine for a while and come have an unforgettable taste of Brazil at Samba.
Samba is a Brazilian steakhouse located in Fresno in the North Pointe shopping center off of Herndon and Palm Avenues.
Their specialty is “churrascariaâ€Â pronounced (shoo-ras-ka-ria). Churrascaria is a Brazilian style of barbequing meat that was created around 400 years ago in southern Brazil by Brazilian cowboys called Gauchos. The meat is cooked on skewers over a fiery charcoal grill with the end result being succulent, juicy meat that is rich in flavor.
Gauchos then walk around your table carrying the freshly cooked skewers and carve meat right onto your plate. And with 14 different meats designed to satisfy your taste buds, your carnivorous desire will be definitely satisfied.
Although it may be the main course, meat is not the only dish.
Included with your Churrasco dinner, there is also an all-access buffet stocked with more than 30 different side dishes to choose from.
The items range from delicious Brazilian side dishes like fresh cooked asparagus, mushrooms, olives, and artichokes to name a few. Salads and fresh seafood are also available for selection in the buffet. They also have freshly baked cheese bread that just melts in your mouth with every bite.
On the weekends they have an even more extravagant selection at the buffet, which includes crab legs.
Currently, the dinner costs only $22.95 on Sunday through Thursday, and $27.00 on Fridays and Saturdays.
Once your done with your meal, you can go hang out at their fully stocked bar or just relax on their inviting outdoor patio.
For those 21 and older, there is an interesting selection of different types of Brazilian beer to sample. “The Brazilian beer we have here, Caipirihna, has five to six different flavors,â€Â said Chris Diaz, who is a bartender at Samba.
The bar also has a 60-inch television displaying the most popular sporting events.
Floor manager, Anthony Halim, mentioned, “We order the UFC fights, and boxing matches here so people can come watch them, and we charge no fee at the door.â€Â
When asked what the best time to go and have the full “Sambaâ€Â experience is, Anthony said they hold special events once every other month. One event is an entertaining Brazilian show featuring Samba dancers.
“They cook their food here with a lot of love,â€Â said Anthony DeLuca, a regular at Samba. “That’s what keeps me coming back, the nice staff and the unbelievably delicious food they have to offer.â€Â

Dear Bertha Gil,
Cool Post Although a lot of health promotion methods advocate us to be vegetarian, I still persist that cooking meat can make people pleasant and happy in a greater degree. Speaking of this, a feeling of slobbering is coming. Today, I want to introduce you an Australian dried meat slice shop, which is an old brand in Australia. The name of the shop is Victor Churchill Butcher.
Catch you again soon!
