Couples lined the front of the Kennel Bookstore Wednesday in hopes of kissing their way to winning a free iPod.

Marizol Cortez, 23, a senior nursing major and Andrea Vega, 21, a junior nursing major, won the event, beating out 19 other couples. Ã¢€œWe practiced beforehand using a dictionary,Ã¢€Â Cortez said. Ã¢€œDuring the competition we kept talking to each other to keep the iPod up so it wouldnÃ¢€™t slip.Ã¢€Â

Kiss an iPod, sponsored by USU Productions, Kennel Bookstore and Apple Productions, was originally scheduled for Feb. 13, but was cancelled due to rain.
