Students came by the Residence Dining Hall Thursday night to compete in the Red Bull Paper Wings contest to see who could throw a paper airplane the farthest. About 50 students came to compete, including Bryce Majors, 20, a business administration and entrepreneurship student.
Miguel A. Macias, 18, a music major, found a new place on campus to relax between classes atop a mound in the Peace Garden. Macias uses the garden to practice the guitar. “I used to sit and play by the fountain, but this is a much more relaxing spot.” Macias hopes that he will start a fad and that other students will utilize the Peace Garden.

The new Peace Garden is brilliant! Every student must stop by to take a looks. It’s something we can all be proud of and share as a campus community. The views of the library interior and vice versa are wonderful!!!!………………………………
