Final: Bulldogs 24, Spartans 10
SAN JOSE – After a dismal first half offensively, the Fresno State Bulldogs put it all together and with an unstoppable run game beat the San Jose State Spartans 24-10 at Spartan Stadium on Friday night.
With the win, the Bulldogs (7-4, 5-3 WAC) have most likely secured a bowl birth.
Fresno State rushed for 183 yards in the second half and junior tailback Anthony Harding had two rushing touchdowns for the Bulldogs.
In the second half, Fresno State put together two scoring drives of more than 50 yards, including an 85-yard drive in the fourth quarter that resulted in Harding’s second touchdown of the night and put the ‘Dogs up 24-10.
Chastin West sparked the Bulldogs̢۪ rally with a 49-yard punt return in the third quarter to knot up the score at 10-10.
Harding finished with 99 yards rushing and Jamaal Rashard ran for a career-high 41 yards.

SAN JOSE – After one half of play, the Fresno State Bulldogs are trailing San Jose State 10-3 at Spartan Stadium.
Fresno State̢۪s offense hasn̢۪t done much against the Spartans in the first half.
The Bulldogs have only amassed 29 yards of total offense, including a dismal minus-13 yards on the ground.
The offense has only picked up two first downs.
Fresno State has committed three turnovers, including two by quarterback Tom Brandstater. The senior fumbled and threw an interception.
San Jose State̢۪s lone touchdown came on a double-pass from quarterback Sean Flynn to Brandon Rutley, who hit David Richmond on a 35-yard strike.
Kevin Goessling made a 44-yard field goal to provide the Bulldogs with their only score.
