The priority application period for students seeking admission to a California State University campus for the fall 2009 semester opened on Oct. 1 and ends on Nov. 30, 2008. Students are encouraged to submit their application for admission during the priority filing period.
Fresno State is expecting a record number of applications from first-time freshmen for the fall 2009 semester. In fall 2008, the university enrolled 2827 new freshmen which is the largest entering class of freshmen at Fresno State.
Due to limitations of the state budget, the university will not have space to accommodate growth in new student enrollment for fall 2009. Therefore, eligible freshmen who apply by November 30 are given priority for admission.
