The Bulldogs are now 16-8 in Western Athletic Conference (WAC) play, just two wins over second place Nevada.
On Sunday, left fielder Steve Susdorf hit his fourth home run of the series in the 6-4 win.
Pitcher Tanners Scheppers earned the win.
In the second game of a doubleheader on Saturday, the Bulldogs were the first to get on the board, but it would be the only time they led in the 12-7 loss.
The Aggies led by no more than three runs throughout five innings.
At the top of the sixth inning, however, the Aggies extended their lead over the ‘Dogs.
Center fielder Joseph Scaperotta scored on a fly out to center field by left fielder Tyler Hardt.
Third baseman Marcos Quade hit a two-run homerun to score himself and Chris Auten from first.
In five at-bats, Quade had four runs and five RBIs.
The Aggies extended their lead 12-6 in the ninth and, although the Bulldogs managed to score, they couldn̢۪t catch up to the Aggie lead.
With two outs, Bulldog pinch hitter Jordan Ribera singled up the middle to score Erik Wetzel and advance Tommy Mendonca to third.
Wetzel reached first at the top of the inning on a single up the middle.
With two on base and two outs, Detwiller grounded out to first base.
Wetzel had three RBIs and two runs in five at-bats.
In the 9-2 loss to the Aggies in game one, the Bulldogs had seven hits and three errors.
Susdorf and Mendonca scored the two runs for the ‘Dogs.
Mendonca hit a home run in the bottom of the fourth for his 12th of the season.
The Aggies̢۪ strongest inning was the first where they scored three unearned runs.
Scaperotta had three RBIs and three hits in five at-bats.
Pitcher Clayton Allison suffered his fourth loss of the season.
In Friday̢۪s 11-8 win over the Aggies, Susdorf hit two home runs to move into fifth place on Fresno State̢۪s All-Time home run list.
He finished the night with six RBI.
The Bulldogs started off strong, scoring four runs in the first inning.
At the end of the fourth inning, the ‘Dogs lead 8-2, but the Aggies came out swinging in the fifth to earn six runs.
The score wouldn̢۪t be tied for long, though.
In the bottom of the fifth, Detwiler singled to right field to get on base and then advanced to second on a fielding error. Muno came up to bat and singled to right field to bring Detwiler in from third.
With the bases loaded, Mendonca singled to second to bring Muno in from third and give the Bulldogs a 10-8 lead.
They scored another in the bottom of the seventh to secure an 11-8 lead.
Fresno State had 15 hits and three errors on the night.
Scheppers earned his first save of the season and Sean Boonesteele earned his first win.
The Bulldogs will head to Long Beach State for a non-conference game on Tuesday.
They will resume conference play on Friday against San Jose State.
The Spartans are 12-11 in WAC play and got swept by Stanford in a two-game series this weekend.
Fresno State swept San Jose State last season in a three-game series at San Jose.
