The city of Fresno named Jan. 30 “Bulldog Football Day”.
The Fresno State football team, along with the spirit squad, the band, Timeout and football fans filled the steps of City Hall to be honored by Fresno Mayor Alan Autry Wednesday.
This was the first Valley-wide pep rally to honor the Bulldogs for the successful season of nine wins and a Humanitarian Bowl win over Georgia Tech.

To the right quarterback Tom Brandstater laughs as Timeout celebrates the occasion.
Even though the team’s season ended on Jan. 1, they are still working hard in anticipation of the coming season with a home opener against Wisconsin.
