The Bulldogs traveled to San Jose State Saturday and won their ninth straight game to tie the school record in consecutive wins and continue a perfect 6-0 record in Western Athletic Conference play.
Fresno State is now 11-8 overall after its 83-65 win over the Spartans.
Tierre Wilson, along with Jalessa Ross and LaShaunte Stephens each scored 14 points in Saturday̢۪s game. Wilson is now 10th on the Fresno State all-time career scoring leader board.
Fresno State̢۪s defense forced 21 turnovers and out-rebounded the Spartans, 31-25.
Emma Andrews scored 11 points and LaToya Brown recorded nine points.
Stephens had a game-high nine rebounds and Ross had seven boards.
The ‘Dogs shot 52 percent from the floor.
Next up for the Bulldogs is a trip to Boise State in hopes of extending their winning streak to 10 games.
Tip-off is 6 p.m. tonight at Taco Bell Arena in Boise.
Men̢۪s Tennis
Fresno State beat Arkansas 4-3 Sunday in three singles wins and the doubles point.
Sophomore Mirko Zapletal beat No. 76-ranked Blake Strode of Arkansas 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 to clinch the match.
In doubles play at the No. 1 spot, sophomores Tejesvi Veerepalli and Zapletal fell 8-4 to Arkansas̢۪ Colin Mascall and Blake Strode.
On Friday, the Bulldogs fell 6-1 to the Oklahoma Sooners after losing the doubles point and five singles matches.
Junior Rudolf Siwy, who is ranked No. 92 in the country, won three sets over Sergey Avdeyev for his second-straight singles match of the year.
In his first victory, Siwy won straight sets over Joel Aherberg in the Bulldogs 5-2 win over Cal Poly.
Freshman Siddharth Alapati lost to Federico Chavarria 7-5, 7-5 in singles and Zapletal fell to Andrei Daescu 6-3, 6-1.
The Bulldogs continue on the road as they take on San Diego and San Diego State next weekend.
