Thumbs up to the Bulldog football team for their acceptance into the Roady̢۪s Humanitarian Bowl game, to be played in Boise, Idaho against Georgia Tech. The venue may not have the same appeal as, say, the Hawaii Bowl, but we̢۪re proud of our ̢۪Dogs anyway.
Thumbs up to “Cherry Chocolate Rain,â€Â a new twist on an old classic. The music video is YouTube megastar Tay Zonday’s update of his original song, “Chocolate Rain,â€Â which became wildly popular over the summer. The update is part of a promotion for Dr. Pepper, to coincide with the release of their own Cherry Chocolate Diet Dr. Pepper. Frankly, the drink sounds disgusting but the video makes us want to try it anyway.
Thumbs up to Dead Days. Besides providing some much-needed time to cram for final exams and write our research papers, they signal the end of the semester, which we embrace entirely.
“The One-Finger Saluteâ€Â is culled each week from discussions in The Collegian newsroom.
