Thumbs up to Bulldog sports. The football team, the women̢۪s soccer team and the women̢۪s golf team all beat their respective opponents this weekend, making for a powerful homecoming showing.

Thumbs down to flu season. We hate getting sick almost as much as we hate getting vaccination shots.

Thumbs up to J. K. Rowling, author of the Harry Potter series, for finally revealing the sexuality of her character Albus Dumbledore, months after the publication of the series’ final book. We know we’re relieved— debate in The Collegian’s newsroom has been nonstop since, well, long before most of our college careers.
