Thumbs up to the Bulldogs for their victory over the Wolf Pack of the University of Nevada, Reno. We̢۪re excited to see the team finally come out of a game that didn̢۪t require mounting a massive comeback.

Thumbs up to the Fresno State Marching Band. According to our photographers and sports editor, the band blew UNR̢۪s band out of the water at Saturday̢۪s game. We̢۪ll tally it as another victory for the university.

Thumbs down to the fact that the football team seems to be playing everywhere but Fresno. The team has only played two home games so far, with several weeks in-between both of those games, meaning the team will only have played two games at home within the first 48 days after the start of the season.

Thumbs down to Fresno County for having the highest incidence of chlamydia, per capita, in California. In response, we at The Collegian have vowed to wear hazmat suits when going out -— you know, just in case. Seriously though, chlamydia isn’t good.

Thumbs up to John, Paul and Ringo, the Beatles we didn̢۪t mention last week. We had some whiners.
