Football fans will have more than one way to show their support today when the Bulldogs face off against Boise State. They can donate food and other items to the Southern California Wildfire Relief Effort to help families who have been devastated by the raging wildfires.
Fans are being asked to donate food, blankets, clothes and other household items that would help victims. Over half a million people have been evacuated, and over 1,500 homes have been destroyed so far.
Donations will be accepted at Bulldog Stadium from 2 p.m. until the start of the game at 6 p.m. The Fresno State Athletics Department and the Community Food Bank, who are promoting the fundraiser, will have tan-colored barrels at six different locations around Bulldog Stadium.
