The Fresno State softball team won its three-game series against the Nevada Wolf Pack this weekend, taking them to 2-1 in conference play.
Despite losing the first game of a doubleheader on Saturday, the Bulldogs took home the second game, 7-1.
In game two catcher Nichole Willis was the offensive standout with four hits in her four at bats. Willis also had two RBIs.
Haley Perkins and Kristin Sylvester were also hot at the plate, with Perkins scoring two runs and going 3 for 5. Michelle Palazuelos and Merryann Barr each had two hits.
The ‘Dogs scored five runs in the first two innings.
The Bulldogs will be at home on Tuesday against Stanford.
