As of Thursday, March 22, parking lots B and K became partially open to students. The lots, which were originally designated for staff and faculty use alone, will either be repainted or signs will be placed to accommodate some student parking.
These changes were implemented due to the closure of Lot V where work is underway to construct 10 metal shelters that will support photovoltaic panels. The shelters will cover 700 parking slots.
Faculty and staff may continue to use any part of Lots B and K. The lots will be exclusive to faculty and staff after the completion of the work in Lot V, which is expected late this summer.
The painting of Lot K begins on March 22 and is expected to continue through March 26, forcing the closure of part of the lot for the first part of the day.
