Ã¢€œEscaping” into dance

Mieko Tanaka, a dance major, practices Thursday with fellow Portable Dance Troupe performers. The troupeÃ¢€™s spring performance, Ã¢€œEscape,” opens today in the Arena Theatre. The show runs through the weekend, with performances at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. The Portable Dance Troupe is one of the longest-running dance companies in the Valley.
