Sarah Wenter, an agricultural business student, assembles bouquets in Fresno State’s Floral Lab. The Valentine’s Day blooms can be purchased today at the Fresno State Farm Market.

Valentine’s Day at Fresno State offers opportunities to celebrate, whether you’re in a relationship, single or in-between.

For the lovers, Fresno State Horticulture and Floral Lab students are selling Valentine’s Day bouquets at the Fresno State Farm Market, open from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Students can also purchase bouquets outside the Kennel Bookstore from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

If flowers just aren’t your style, the farm market is sampling and selling two holiday-themed ice creams, Raspberry Romance and Sinfully Cinnamon.

Learn some new relationship skills at “Building Healthy Relationships,” held in the Health Center from 1-1:50 p.m. The information session will focus on communication skills and boundary setting.

For students in need of an escape from the Hallmark holiday, the Health Center is also offering “Surviving Valentine’s Day,” a chance to share strategies for coping with the Valentine’s blues. The survivors’ session is being held in the Health Center from 3-3:50 p.m.
