University police are expecting congestion on campus roadways as fall semester classes begin Thursday.
The campus police recommends that students plan for extra travel time when coming to or from Fresno State on Thursday and Friday. Students arriving on campus after 11 a.m. are also encouraged to park in one of the Save Mart Center parking lots 1, 2 or 3 and use the Bulldog Express for a free ride to the core of campus.
If students haven’t received their semester parking permit yet, the printed receipt is a temporary permit that’s valid for 14 business days. It must be clearly displayed on the dashboard of the vehicle, the police said.
The daily parking permit price has increased from $3 to $4. Daily permits can be obtained from 16 machines located throughout the campus parking lots.
